Psychologist II (Limited Appointment)

Position Overview The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part‑time Psychologist II to join the Insomnia Clinic. The Insomnia Clinic provides behavioral treatments for insomnia that do not involve medications. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Deliver CBT‑I treatment through structured individual therapy sessions Run therapy sessions using cognitive‑behavioral therapy Review clinicians' intake materials to develop personalized treatment plans Track patients' progress through sleep diaries, clinical assessments, and session interactions Maintain timely documentation in the electronic medical record system Train psychology interns, externs, and residents Perform other clinician duties as assigned Job Qualifications PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology Valid CA Psychologist License Minimum 2 years of post‑doctoral experience Previous experience with insomnia patients Previous experience with CBT‑I Strong computer skills including word processing, e‑mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to work and practice professional relationships with other therapists, medical personnel, and patients Additional Information Employment Type: 4‑Staff: Limited Duration: 11 months Job Number: 29841 Posted Date: 04/10/2026 Salary Range: $63.75/hr – $84.08/hr As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr UCLA Health
