Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and providing communication skills. Essential functions/skills involve mathematical abilities, motor coordination, and the ability to work under various conditions.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Required sensing includes talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Required temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working under stress, meeting quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing data, making judgments, and decisions. Most tasks are performed standing, with occasional walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, and hand tasks.
