Construction Manager

BC&A has an immediate opening for a full-time position in Construction Management in Draper, Utah. The applicant will be responsible for managing and observing construction projects to ensure that projects meet the requirements of the project documents. Skills & Qualifications 5+ years related job experience in Engineering or Construction Management. Special inspection certifications or the ability to obtain certifications within six months of hire. Professional and effective in verbal and written communication skills. Competent computer experience in preparing and organizing project documentation. Manage construction projects to ensure compliance with the project documents. Coordinate review of technical submittals, request for information/interpretation, work change directives, track project changes, and produce documentation for change orders. Oversee contractor’s compliance with permitting and other project requirements. Document, photograph and report the quality of construction workmanship on the project site. Witness and record the progress of the contractor’s schedule. Interface with the general contractor and the project team as the project owner’s representative. Lead coordination meetings with clients, general contractors, subconsultants, and other government agencies.
