Senior Database Developer

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Database Developer will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert, developing and maintaining robust database systems, optimizing performance, and managing ETL workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain database systems aligned with business goals and objectives Optimize database performance, scalability, and security, and manage ETL workflows using SSIS Provide technical leadership and mentorship to database developers and analysts, conducting code reviews and fostering continuous improvement Required qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 5+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management Expertise in SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI Strong experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedure development Proficiency in developing ETL workflows and familiarity with Azure Data Services is a plus
