HR Business Partner

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a HR Business Partner. This position will be a hybrid role based in our North American HQ location in Beachwood, OH. There is a preference for candidates living within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH if candidates are not located in the 50 mile radius relocation may be considered. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you’ll do: Position Overview: Drive organizational change and deploy Human Resources policies, practices, and programs to ensure we are working to potential. This includes building organizational capability and fostering employee engagement through an inclusive culture focused on safety, customer focus and continuous improvement / learning for all employees. Lead and coach others to utilize effective change management tools. Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management and employee development, while fostering a culture of manager ownership and accountability of the employee life cycle. Facilitate a culture where best practices are shared across HR and the business; identify opportunities for learning across Eaton and local market practices. Facilitate talent reviews to assess pipeline strength, determine development focus areas or gaps in the organization and implement necessary actions. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum 7 years of human resources experience. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor / Industrial Relations or MBA Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or with digital industries Experience working in a matrix environment Skills: Ability to drive results, influence and lead in a highly matrixed and global organization and environment Ability to demonstrate commitment to employee engagement and continuous improvement Ability to demonstrate strong drive for results, sense of urgency and innovation Ability to demonstrate data analytics and strong project management skills with ability to lead a cross-functional business team Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels within the organization Ability to demonstrate excellent facilitation/ coaching skills – proven ability to drive cultural change Ability to demonstrate full range of developed HR competencies in organizational development, employee relations, recruiting and selection, compensation/benefits and compliance Ability to demonstrate managerial courage with good conflict resolution and negotiation skills 10% travel required All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
