Come join our TJX family—a Fortune 100 company and the world's leading off-price retailer.Location: 290 Spagnoli Rd Melville, NY 11747You'll be responsible for:Leading, advising and developing Loss Prevention hourly staff; providing development direction and feedback to hourly associates on performance of daily dutiesCoordinating shrink reduction programs in partnership with Operations Management and Senior Loss Prevention staff; executing shrink reduction initiatives in areas of awareness, audits, and trainingInvestigating incidents, accidents, and situations that may affect the assets of the company while working with Operations Supervisors to ensure compliance with all security / Loss Prevention processes and proceduresInspecting security systems and controls to ensure merchandise, the building, and associates are protected; reports critical exceptionsCompleting written reports to management on audits and incidents, within the facility.Participating in safety committees, shrink committees and daily operations meetings; advising the Loss Prevention team during emergency situations.Participating in internal investigations involving employee theft, harassment, etc.Qualifications:1 -2 years of Loss Prevention Supervisor or Asset Protection Supervisor experience in a distribution center, fulfillment center or retail settingKnowledge of investigation/interviewing skillsStrong communicator, informal doer and motivator4 – 6 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree preferredBenefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long-term disability; paid holidays/vacation /sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; incentive programs for management; auto/home insurance discounts; tuition reimbursement; scholarship program; adoption/surrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; child care/cell phone discounts; pet/legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
