Business Analyst Pay: $ 38- 42/hr Onsite: New Orleans, LA Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field. 2+ years of business analytics, data analytics, financial analysis, or business intelligence experience. Strong Power BI experience with the ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboards and reports. Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and data visualization tools. Strong communication skills with the ability to gather requirements, lead stakeholder discussions, and translate business needs into reporting solutions. Proactive, resourceful individual with strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Forms, etc.). Oracle, SAP, or other asset management software experience. Experience with data lakes or enterprise data warehousing tools such as SAP HANA or BigQuery. Utilities, energy, construction, infrastructure, distribution, or related industry experience. Experience supporting capital projects, capital budgets, project tracking, or operational performance reporting. Exposure to regulatory reporting, forecasting, or financial performance analysis. Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst I to support a natural gas utility company's contract construction operations and infrastructure groups with data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. This is a 9-month contract-to-hire opportunity supporting construction, field operations, engineering, accounting, supply chain, and regulatory stakeholders. The analyst will build, maintain, and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards and reports; analyze project, operational, and financial data; track capital project spending and performance metrics; support forecasting activities; gather and validate data from internal teams and contractors; and provide reporting that helps leadership make informed business decisions. This role can sit in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Lake Charles, Broussard, LA, or Pearl, MS. Compensation ranges from $33-$43/hour based on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
