Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and, after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever. Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28‑acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in‑room dining. Beach Village at The Del is an exclusive enclave of luxurious beachfront accommodations located within the iconic setting of Hotel del Coronado. Cottages and villas range from one to three bedrooms and include fireplaces, marble bathrooms, and private patios or balconies. Classification: Seasonal, Full‑Time Begins May 2026 and ends no later than September 8, 2026 Shift: Various – must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Pay Rate: $21.96, based on applicable experience and location. Union Position: Part of Local L30 Union, requiring complete open availability. Hours and schedule may vary week to week based on seniority and business needs. What will I be doing? Handle the pre‑planning of the Beach Village experience for all scheduled arrivals. Coordinate and confirm the guest arrival schedule and all planned activities in advance of arrival. Assist with guest arrival, hotel orientation, and departure. Check guests in/out of the hotel using the computer system. Book future hotel or Beach Village reservations for guests. Respond to all guest requests, make suggestions, and arrange to enhance the overall experience. Act as a conduit between the Beach Village guests and all operating departments to ensure tasks are completed. Make dining and other reservations for guests and follow through with departments to ensure execution. Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the working area. Check daily information board to prepare for arrivals and special requests. Adhere to department and hotel procedures and policies, including guidelines in the Hotel del Coronado Associate Handbook. Provide assistance to hotel departments as required. Perform additional tasks as requested by leadership. Handle and process guest requests, exceeding expectations with personalized service and accurate information. What are we looking for?
