We are seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with strong automotive electronics hardware development experience. The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end ownership of hardware design, from concept and architecture through validation and production.
Strong expertise in PCB design reviews, high-speed layout, hardware architecture, and automotive development processes is highly preferred.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with strong automotive electronics hardware development experience. The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end ownership of hardware design, from concept and architecture through validation and production.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead automotive electronic hardware development from concept through production .
- Translate customer/system requirements into hardware requirements, architecture, block diagrams, schematics, and design documentation.
- Design analog, digital, power-supply, communication, sensor-interface, and microcontroller-based circuits .
- Select automotive-grade components based on performance, reliability, qualification, availability, lifecycle, and cost.
- Review and guide PCB placement, routing, stack-up, grounding, shielding, thermal management, signal integrity, and power integrity .
- Perform circuit simulations, WCCA, tolerance analysis, derating analysis, and power-budget calculations .
- Lead hardware design reviews and drive closure of technical issues.
- Develop and maintain BOMs and support component lifecycle/obsolescence management.
- Support prototype development, board bring-up, debugging, integration, and functional testing .
- Define hardware verification and validation plans, test specifications, acceptance criteria, and test reports.
- Support EMC, ESD, electrical transient, environmental, vibration, thermal, and reliability testing .
- Perform structured root-cause analysis for design, manufacturing, validation, and field issues.
- Support DFMEA, FMEDA, ISO 26262 and other automotive safety/development activities.
- Collaborate with System, Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, Validation, Suppliers, and Customer teams.
- Support DFM, DFT, design-for-reliability, and production launch activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior/offshore hardware engineers.
- Lead technical discussions, customer reviews, estimates, planning, and delivery activities.
- 10+ years of Hardware Design Engineering experience
- Strong automotive electronics hardware development experience
- End-to-end hardware development lifecycle ownership
- PCB design review and high-speed PCB layout
- Hardware architecture and schematic design
- Analog and digital circuit design

- Microcontroller-based hardware
