CSP Engagement Specialist

National Remote – you may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Take on tough challenges as a CSP Engagement Specialist who places outbound calls and answers return calls to members to determine eligibility and enroll them in the Cancer Support Program. This full‑time role runs Monday‑Friday. Employees must be able to work any 8‑hour shift during 7:00 am‑7:00 pm CST and may occasionally work overtime. 2 weeks of paid virtual training will be provided (first week 8:30 am‑5:00 pm CST, Monday‑Friday). Primary Responsibilities Complete thorough documentation of call interactions with real‑time talking and typing. Serve as a resource or subject‑matter expert for team members or internal customers. Make outbound calls to members with a cancer diagnosis to provide education on the value of the Cancer Support Program. Collect data from members and input information into an assessment to determine eligibility. Coordinate information to clinical team partners. Telecommuting Requirements Keep all company‑sensitive documents secure. Maintain a dedicated and private work area separated from other living areas. Live in an area with a UnitedHealth‑approved high‑speed internet connection. Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as primary work tools. 1+ year of experience in telephonic customer service. Ability to work full‑time Monday‑Friday with flexible 8‑hour shift schedules during 7:00 am‑7:00 pm CST; occasional overtime may be required. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a high‑volume call‑center environment. Experience in a medical or behavioral setting (e.g., hospital, managed‑care organization, joint medical/behavioral outpatient practice). Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. Experience working with multiple complex systems simultaneously to complete required tasks. Experience working with populations experiencing a cancer diagnosis.
