Pharmacist - Per Diem - Part Time

This position will provide coverage between clinics in Yakima & Toppenish. What does it mean to join our team as a pharmacist? As a pharmacist at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, you are truly integrated into a team-based healthcare organization working to the top of your licensure. Pharmacists are involved in all aspects of patient care and have access to patient charts, labs, medications, and diagnoses. With the ability to prescribe or modify care plans via collaborative agreements, our goal is to ensure patients receive the best and most complete, cost-effective medications and care possible. Aside from traditional outpatient dispensing, pharmacists provide clinical support to medical providers via chronic refill authorization, therapeutic interchanges, and prior authorization completions. Additionally, there is an opportunity for clinical visits managing diabetes, hypertension, anticoagulants, and asthma, amongst other chronic conditions, with direct face-to-face or telehealth patient care.
