Our innovative solutions include lighter-weight, high-strength materials; more electric technologies; DURACARB carbon friction material; EDL extended life configurations; and innovative aircraft gear, wheel and brake design.What You Will DoAssure manufacturing process, equipment, tooling, fixture design, routings, programming, and standard work in support of production requirements for assembly operations.Develop, optimize and sustain assembly processes using lean principles – standard work, flow optimization, waste elimination and visual management.Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives using structured methodologies (A3, RCA, PDCA, VSM, Kaizen) to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.Identify and implement cost savings related to labor utilization, scrap reduction, process efficiency and capital deployment.Manage and lead projects using a gated project management structure – including scope definition, timeline development, cross-functional alignment, risk mitigation and gate reviews.Lead capital projects including equipment justification, vendor management, installation, commissioning (FAT/SAT) and process validation.Conduct Industrial Engineering analyses such as time studies, line balancing, work sampling, ergonomic evaluations, and capacity modeling.Support compliance activities including AS9100, NADCAP and internal audit readiness; ensure processes maintain certification-related requirements.Serve as technical liaison between Value Streams, Quality Assurance, EH&S, Design Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure aligned and robust manufacturing support.Provide day-to-day technical support to production teams;
