To thrive in this full-time, onsite role as an Autism Consultant, Specialist, or qualified BCBA, you’ll need:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with K-12 students across the autism spectrum (including both high-functioning and significantly impacted, non-speaking students).
- Proven ability to conduct Autism evaluations and impact assessments.
- Master’s level training (SPED teacher, SLP, or School Psychologist with TSPC license) or Board Certified in ABA with specialized autism experience.
- Familiarity with public education and special education settings.
- Proper Oregon state licensure and certification.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultation and support to school teams across various settings.
- Implement and review autism-specific assessments and service plans.
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to ensure best outcomes for students.
- Provide expertise and training for staff on autism best practices.
