Description

• Manage the financial performance of multiple projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, billing, and cost tracking.
• Partner with project managers and operational leaders to monitor project financial health.
• Analyze project profitability and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
• Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities associated with projects.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and financial requirements.
• Oversee revenue recognition and job cost reporting for assigned projects.
• Perform and support month-end close activities related to project accounting.
• Review financial data and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Prepare and present financial analyses to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Assist in improving accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation.
• Support decision-making through financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Utilize strong analytical and project-based accounting expertise to drive project success.

Bachelor's Degree preferred

3+ years of construction accounting experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edwardsville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
