Location: Catawba Two Kings Casino – Kings Mountain, NC 28086 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Any Job Summary The F&B Supervisor is responsible for ensuring proper training and supervision of all F&B team members under the direction of the F&B Manager and Assistant Manager. The role delivers prompt, courteous service that complies with Two Kings Casino Food and Beverage standards and company policies in all operational areas related to the guest service experience for all outlets, including full casino service bars, lobby bar, snack bar, restaurant, and EDR. Responsibilities Supervise all outlets during operation. Assist in overall supervision of the department as outlined in the Supervisor’s job description. Attend to attendance, check team members’ punctuality, and document call‑offs and tardiness. Assist with deliveries, place truck orders, and check in trucks. Participate in inventory processes and order necessary items, spot‑checking par levels. Supervise food preparation while maintaining quality, presentation, and sanitation standards. Monitor and critique quality and consistency of food products. Examine food preparation and beverage presentation to ensure quality standards are met. Track food and liquor par levels and requisitions. Conduct pre‑shift meetings with F&B team members daily for all shifts. Train and ensure team members follow designated service scenarios. Coach, counsel, and communicate effectively with all F&B outlet team members. Assist in outlet operations as necessary. Introduce innovative and creative ideas and plan ahead. Maintain cleanliness and health‑code standards. Handle guest comments and complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. Complete required POS audits and assist F&B team members with banking or transaction needs. Roam the casino floor and outlets, communicate with guests, and gather feedback. Monitor team members’ performance and assist as needed. Maintain condition of bars, EDR, venues, etc. Monitor food waste. Perform administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, ordering, and daily recaps. Track labor and payroll costs, granting early outs when appropriate. Check bar controls: shot glass use, red lining, and bottle emptiness. Adhere to all liquor liability laws, including the Dram Shop Act. Manage productivity of all outlets (restaurant, room service, bar, mini‑bar) with proper scheduling per business demands. Assist the manager and assistant manager with scheduling, weekly payroll, interviewing new employees, cost control, and maintenance requests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a hotel, restaurant, or casino. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask. Effective leader who can delegate. Proficient in training, developing, and leading a team. Computer literate, detail oriented, with basic mathematical skills and ability to create and understand financial reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities. Flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts (day, swing, and night). Must obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License. Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Attentive and detail oriented. Basic math skills: ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions. Effective communication in a leadership capacity. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Flexible with alternate schedules as needed. Ability to work in a loud, fast‑paced environment. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; talk, hear, and see. Periodic prolonged sitting at a desk and computer work is required. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. Manual dexterity is needed to chop, mix, blend, and whip various foods and liquids. Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50lbs. Occasional pushing and pulling of equipment, mops, and brooms. Standing and walking for the entire shift. Frequently required to reach up to 6‑7feet, twist at the waist, bend, and squat. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50pounds.
