Are you driven by opportunity?Nextran Truck Centers is hiring!Job DutiesThe Diesel Technician is a skilled position that is responsible for repairing and maintaining our customers Medium & Heavy-Duty Trucks. This includes diagnosing issues, preventative maintenance, repairs, disassembly and re-assembly, and writing detailed work notes.Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.Performs work outlined on repair order efficiently and accurately.Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.Communicates with Service Advisor on repair updates and/or delays.Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.Understands, keeps abreast and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc.Skills and QualificationsHeavy-duty truck repair experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Personal tools.
