TITLE
Registered Nurse - Acute Care

SCHEDULE
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
Contract Weeks: 13

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Collect and analyze data pertinent to the patient's health, developing plans to prescribe interventions.
- Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward attaining health outcomes.
- Foster collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and caring environment.
- Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
