Event Security needed for Several upcoming events, at the Dallas Fair Park Cotton Bowl 09/12/2026
including the State Fair of Texas 2026 season September 24th -October 18th, 2026
Job Fair at Location: 116 Elston Drive Dallas, Texas 75232 Tuesday September 8th- Time: 5:30pm-9:30pm
Wednesday September 9th 116 Elston Drive Dallas, Texas 75232 & Thursday September 10th at Location 2307 Oak Lane, suite 225 Grand Prairie, Texas 75051-
Time: 5:30pm-9:30pm
Responsibilities:
Access Control and ScreeningWeapons Detection: Operating automated weapon-detection systems at pedestrian entry gates.
Bag Checks: Inspecting permitted bags and enforcing strict, prohibited item policies.
Credential Verification: Monitoring gates to ensure only authorized staff, vendors, and guests enter.
Minor Chaperone Policies: Enforcing rules requiring visitors under 17 to be accompanied by an adult (21 or older) during specific evening hours.
Patrolling and Crowd ManagementProperty Patrols: Monitoring perimeters, parking lots, and historical buildings like the Music Hall at Fair Park.
Crowd Flow: Directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, preventing overcrowding, and keeping emergency lanes clear.
Surveillance: Monitoring live CCTV cameras and remote video feeds to track parking areas and large crowds after dark.
T he primary duty of security personnel is to protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe, visible, and orderly environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Texas security license or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
