Litigation Associate (Commercial/Business) Overview Premier Long Island law firm, Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., seeks a bright and ambitious commercial litigator to join our growing litigation team. Candidates must have 3+ years’ litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation, including contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, restrictive covenant enforcement, employment, construction and real estate disputes, antitrust or unfair business practices, insurance coverage and defense, securities claims, Article78 proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution. Requirements D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Admission to the New York State bar. 3+ years of litigation experience including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, attending court appearances, and conducting and defending depositions. Law Review or Moot Court preferred. Excellent writing, research and communication skills. The firm offers a comprehensive package including a competitive base salary, performance-based bonus program and business origination commissions. Target Hiring Range: $145,000 – $185,000. Actual compensation will be determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education/training, and relevant skills.
