IFM Retail DirectorThis role offers full remote flexibility with strategic travel up to 30%, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Midwest region.Lead the transformation of North America's largest retail facilities portfolio as our IFM Retail Director, where you'll command operational excellence across 10+ million square feet spanning 1,800+ dynamic retail environments. This is your chance to elevate your career while leading a world-class team in an environment that rewards excellence, innovation, and leadership impact.Here is some of what your day will look like:Oversee service delivery for the entire retail portfolio, ensuring all facilities services meet contract requirements, performance standards, and client expectationsLead and develop management-level staff across geographically dispersed teams, providing coaching, performance management, and succession planning while fostering teamwork and excellenceManage vendor relationships and performance to ensure third-party services are delivered according to contract terms and quality standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives including cost savings programs, benchmarking, best practices implementation, and innovation leveraging JLL's platform and regional networksEnsure KPI and SLA achievement across all account metrics while maintaining strict adherence to governance processes and compliance requirementsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through superior support, regular communication, and exceptional service quality as measured by client feedback and satisfaction scoresManage financial operations including annual budgeting, monthly budget performance reporting, invoice approvals, contract negotiations, and third-party spend oversightChampion workplace excellence by advocating for diversity and inclusion, maintaining safety standards, and upholding JLL's core values of Teamwork, Ethics, and ExcellenceHere is who we are looking for:A bachelor degree or higher10+ years of experience specifically managing retail facilities, with proven managerial experience required as this role will manage a team of Senior ManagersStrong client relationship management, strategic thinking with execution capabilities, independent leadership with excellent organizational and multitasking skills, outstanding communication and presentation abilities, and a forward-thinking mindset that drives innovation and transformationStrong retail banking or similar geographically distributed small site portfolio experience, capable of managing high-touch, brand focused, and specialty spacesStrong financial acumen, clear understanding of commercial leases, and contract documentsFamiliarity with building systems, CMMSs, Microsoft Office and utilization of AI toolsSuperior financial skills and budgeting/forecastingThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
