Job Description The Food and Beverage Team Member will prepare beverage and food orders in accordance with Dialtone standards and recipes. Manage the flow of guests in and around the café, restaurant, and retail area. Keep areas clean and organized. Provide great customer service. Take and record accurate food and drink orders and communicate menu items to customers. Deliver food and beverages to customers. Greet customers, answer questions, and create a fun experience. Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipates guests’ needs. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the menu offerings. Use sales techniques to present and encourage current promotions. Accommodate guest dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring all modifications are communicated to kitchen staff. Record sales, operate cash registers, and handle cash payments. Operate all necessary tools and equipment, including the POS system and various payment terminals. Use tact and good judgment when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy. Prepare hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, espresso, and cocktails, customizing orders to customer preferences. Prepare and serve foods such as sandwiches, muffins, and baked goods. Manage inventory for pastries, snacks, coffee, tea, liquor, and other ingredients. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, portioning, and preparing menu items for the kitchen. Monitor stock levels, restock ingredients, and supplies as needed. Clean and sanitize in‑store food surfaces, tools, and equipment regularly to meet food safety standards. Help unload and store deliveries, stock supplies, and merchandise. Perform thorough mopping and sweeping of the floors, using appropriate cleaning solutions. Empty trash containers and rinse garbage cans. Clean up spills and broken glassware immediately. Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware and clean kitchen appliances and machines. Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures. What You Bring? Previous experience as a barista, cook, or server. Restaurant and/or coffee shop experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED.
