Human Resources Assistant

Renewal by Andersen of Milwaukee is looking for a full-time Human Resources Assistant that will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department, all while gaining practical experience in the field.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation within HRIS, SharePoint, and other applicable platformsLearn, maintain, and manage Paycom features (Learning, Surveys, LOA, etc.)Ensure benefit enrollments and terminations are processed within HRIS and vendor portalsMaintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and communicationsAct as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, including health, disability, and retirement plan providersAct as a liaison between the organization and state and federal agencies such as Unemployment, IRS, and Child SupportSupport HR-related special events, such as benefits enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and celebrationsJob RequirementsAt least one year experience in Human Resources position requiredMust have Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related fieldPrior related office experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteProficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and other computer applications as neededAbility to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 20lbsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Renewal by Andersen
