The Media Coordinator is responsible for creating, managing, and distributing engaging digital media content that supports the mission, vision, and ministry of Hope City Church. This role oversees the production, editing, organization, and publication of video, audio, graphic, and social media content across multiple platforms, including weekend services, online ministries, podcasts, social media, and church communications. Working closely with staff, volunteers, and production teams, the Media Coordinator ensures that all content effectively communicates the Hope City Church brand while maintaining excellence in creativity, technology, and execution. Hope City Church is looking for a candidate who is a self-motivated, innovative leader who is passionate about ministry, committed to continual improvement, and capable of building and developing teams that help advance the church's mission.

• Possess the ability to coach others and build teams to support the mission and vision through the media ministry.

Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)

• Use knowledge of software programs like Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Photoshop to create visual pieces to be employed on a number of different platforms to communicate, mission, vision and brand.
• Work closely with production crew and directors, sound engineers, videographers and producers.
• Brainstorm subject matter and choose topics for videos, write scripts and titles and edit audio or video footage for media projects.
• Produce visual, audio and video content to be used online, for weekend services, website assets and more.
• Possess a solid understanding of technology and use it to manage the creation of content for digital formats.
• Communicate with other production and project creative team members to build engaging audio/visual content and material that meets user needs and production goals.

Minimum Requirements

• An obvious, active, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Agree with Hope City Church’s Statement of Faith and Staff Lifestyle Agreement.
• Approved background check.
• You (and your spouse if married) attend Hope City Church on a regular basis.
• Must have +2 years experience with multiple social media platforms as well as their profile and content management applications, graphic design and video editing software for Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop.
• Enthusiasm for the mission, vision and values of Hope City Church.
• Ability to comprehend vision/mission/strategy and apply tasks and goals to accurately communicate the Hope City Church brand visually and audibly in an effective way.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates wisdom in decisions, actions & recommendations.
• Evaluates decisions/actions by their overall impact and long-term implications.
• Strong teamwork skills, patience and a willingness to offer suggestions and improvements.
