The Automotive Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring clear communication and efficient management of vehicle service needs. This role involves scheduling appointments, coordinating with technicians, and providing follow-up support to deliver a positive customer experience mainly focused on routine maintenance and warranty repairs.

 

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand service needs and vehicle issues
• Schedule service appointments effectively and manage shop workflow
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with customers throughout the service process
• Provide follow-up service communication to confirm customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to optimize service department operations

• Entry-level experience in automotive service advising
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficient problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with dealer management systems and CRM platforms
• Working knowledge of basic office software
