Role Description

This full‑time, on‑site Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician role is based in Chagrin Falls, OH. The technician will perform routine and emergency service on heating, air conditioning, and geothermal systems, including installation support, diagnostics, and system optimization. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, completing maintenance and repair tasks, conducting preventive maintenance checks, and ensuring work is documented accurately. The role involves interacting with customers to explain findings, recommend solutions, and ensure satisfaction with completed work. The technician will follow safety standards, comply with relevant codes and EPA regulations, and collaborate with team members to deliver timely, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose heating, air conditioning, and geothermal system issues effectively.
• Experience with maintenance & repair and preventive maintenance for residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, with clear communication and professional service at job sites.
• Knowledge of EPA guidelines and possession of appropriate EPA certification (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, including safe use of tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Previous experience as an HVAC or service technician, or equivalent technical training in heating and cooling systems.
• Ability to work on‑site in varying weather conditions, lift and move equipment as needed, and follow all safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliability in attending scheduled shifts and service appointments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or HVAC certification is preferred.
