LC-MS Chemist - Metabolism

Labcorp seeks an LC-MS Chemist to perform method validation and bioanalytical work in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves executing routine to advanced LC-MS/MS assays, managing project timelines, and supporting regulatory compliance in a GLP/GCP environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and independently perform routine to moderate-level method validation activities compliant with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Execute advanced method validation tasks under guidance from Lead Scientist
• Resolve procedural and scientific problems using data interpretation and analytical instrumentation skills
• Review reports, methods, protocols, and SOPs while maintaining audit-ready study documentation
• Manage assigned projects, coordinate team activities, and communicate deviations or corrective actions to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field
• 1.5+ years hands-on LC-MS/MS bioanalysis experience with MRM-based quantitation
• 1.5+ years ADME/PK assay experience including liver microsomal stability and permeability assays
• 1.5+ years operating triple quadrupole mass spectrometer platforms
• Proficiency with data acquisition software (MassLynx, MassHunter, Analyst, or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to generate reproducible high-quality bioanalytical data
• Experience in GLP/GCP-regulated environment or pharmaceutical/biotech/CRO setting
