This role involves high-precision TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems in mechanical rooms, boiler systems, and industrial facilities. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, can meet B31.3 code standards, and works well as part of a team in demanding job site environments. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) pipe welding Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems Produce welds that meet B31.3 code requirements and pass X-ray inspection Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols Prepare pipe and materials for welding, including fit-up and tack welding Operate welding equipment and power tools safely Work closely with pipefitters and field crews Maintain clean and safe job sites Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures Qualifications Required: 4 to 5 years of industrial pipe welding experience Strong proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding Ability to pass a B31.3 weld test to X-ray standards Solid blueprint and welding symbol interpretation skills High attention to detail and quality Physically able to lift materials and work in industrial environments Preferred: Experience welding in mechanical rooms or boiler systems Background in pipe fabrication and fitting Benefits Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match $50,000 company-paid life insurance (AD&D) Short-term disability and optional life insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid time off and paid holidays Career advancement opportunities Tool and equipment support Schedule Full-Time Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Location Projects are located along the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City to Syracuse, UT).
