Details Level II Trauma Center serving adult and pediatric acute care and outpatient populations Work in the Emergency Department, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics with floating required between these areas 7 on/7 off schedule with shift options of 3x12s (1930-0800) or 4x10s (2130-0800) nights 1:1 patient ratio Uses GE CT equipment and PACS Epic EMR required No call requirement for this position Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in CT specialty required ARRT (CT) certification required BLS certification required Experience in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings required Epic EMR experience required GE equipment experience required Proficiency in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE Current NURSYS report required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Unit does not accept first-time travelers Must work assigned shift if it falls on a holiday Orientation held 5 days a week RTO must be finalized and discussed during the interview process Candidates must live 65 miles from the facility to be considered Previous Ochsner employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a travel contractor Perform CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and vascular studies May perform advanced procedures such as CT arthrography, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA American Traveler Job ID P-716890.
