This role offers the chance to make a significant impact, supporting elementary and some PreK students during a colleague’s medical leave extending through the district's winter break. If you are an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with school-based experience, your expertise can ensure continuity of care and progress for a supportive caseload of approximately 40 students with mild to moderate needs, all at a single site.

Key Qualifications:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience in school settings, especially at the elementary level
• Skilled in providing direct therapy and compensatory services
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload, including PreK and elementary-aged students
• Confident working independently and collaborating with school staff and families
• Must meet legal requirements for W-2 employment (no 1099 contractors)
• Not accepting Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
• Manage and carry out IEPs, including data collection and progress monitoring
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide makeup services as needed, collaborating with the returning SLP to maintain student success
• Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with district policies
