Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students’ communication growth in a collaborative environment near Littleton, CO. This full-time opportunity is available on a contract basis, providing coverage for a medical leave through to winter break (with potential involvement in compensatory services afterward). You’ll work with an elementary caseload, which includes some PreK students, providing direct speech-language services at a single school site for approximately 40 students with mild to moderate needs.

Your ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is essential; the district requires an experienced SLP prepared to independently manage and run the caseload. There's no option for clinical fellows (CFs), SLPAs, or 1099 contractor arrangements, and Voco isn’t applicable for this assignment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
• Valid licensure for Colorado
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering speech-language therapy in school settings
• Experience with elementary and PreK-aged students, especially those with mild to moderate communication challenges
• Strong organizational skills with comfort managing a moderate caseload at a single site
• Clear, collaborative communication abilities with parents, staff, and district colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students across elementary and PreK age groups
• Complete evaluations, write IEP goals, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams for holistic student support
• Participate in IEP meetings and compensatory service planning, as needed
• Maintain accurate records in line with district and state requirements
