We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to join our growing team in Pompano Beach. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of accounting experience who wants to grow within a stable and collaborative environment.

You will support core accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end close , working closely with the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close , including journal entries and accruals
• Maintain account reconciliations and support variance analysis
• Process and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with payroll processing (bi-weekly)
• Support sales tax filings and audits
• Collaborate with the accounting team and provide backup support as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Understanding of general ledger and month-end close
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work on-site in Pompano Beach

Preferred (not required):

• Experience with multi-state or international transactions (U.S./Canada)
