Job Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare patients and maintain sterile technique for invasive cardiac procedures.
  
  
• 
  Operate and monitor sophisticated imaging and diagnostic equipment during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and staff to facilitate efficient case flow and optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety protocols, including vaccination requirements and on-call schedules.
  
  
• 
  Assist with post-procedure patient care and education as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold minimum 2 years of experience in invasive cardiac cath labs.
  
  
• 
  Complete an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Program with certification or RCIS credential.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible hours including on-call, holidays, and overtime.
  
  
• 
  Must be vaccinated for COVID and flu or have approved religious/medical declinations.
