Corporate Attorney (EC/VC & Startup Experience Preferred)Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid — about 3 days onsite) Experience: 2+ years of experience Hours: 1500 billable - 1800 billable hours but no set requirement + flexible Compensation: $200k+About the RoleWe are seeking a sharp, business-minded Corporate Attorney with strong foundational experience in general corporate work and a preference for emerging companies, venture capital, and startup representation. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, client-facing work, and the ability to grow into an equity partner quickly — sometimes within the first month of joining.What You'll DoAdvise startups, founders, and emerging companies on entity formation, governance, capitalization, and commercial matters.Support and lead venture financings, SAFE/convertible note rounds, and related EC/VC transactions.Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements, operational contracts, and corporate documents.Provide strategic legal guidance that aligns with clients' growth and scaling goals.Work directly with the founding partner on high-impact client matters across innovative industries.Ideal Background2+ years of experience in corporate/transactional work.
