Billing Representative Clerk

Managing patient billing processes, the full-time Associate Billing Representative Clerk will enter charges, submit claims to insurance companies, and resolve billing rejections while working in the revenue cycle department. Key responsibilities Enter coded patient visits and charges into the system, making necessary adjustments and submitting claims electronically or by paper Prepare and complete claims for various insurance providers and follow up on pending claims to ensure resolution Review variance reports to identify trends and consistently achieve defined performance metrics Required qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum one year of front-end medical billing experience Thorough understanding of medical terminology and coding Experience working with billing rejections Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
