Requirements
- Current, valid RN license from the state and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if performing circulating or recovery room for C-section).
- Current, valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if caring for Pediatrics).
- Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (for Family Care Unit).
- Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring class (for Labor and Delivery, within the first year).
- Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring class (for Labor, within three years).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient care needs.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to protocols and physician orders.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and prioritize tasks effectively.

Compliance / Notes
- Must maintain all certifications throughout employment.
- Special training may be required based on unit-specific duties.
