Phlebotomist

Urgent hiring for "Phlebotomist".

Job Description:

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary.
• Update patient information accurately.
• Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results

Qualification:

• 1+ year of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in Hospital / Clinic / Lab is mandatory.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.

This is a contract position based out of Hillandale, MD.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
