Job Title: Central Supply Associate
Facility: Ambassador Healthcare at College Park
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00–$22.00 per hour

Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Central Supply Associate to support the daily operations of our facility. This role is essential in ensuring departments have the supplies and equipment needed to deliver quality resident care. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and comfortable managing inventory, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks in a healthcare setting.

• Confirm all orders with written purchase orders in compliance with procurement policies

• Prepare, review, and submit purchase orders with proper authorization

• Address claims for damaged goods, shipment errors, and vendor returns

• Determine supply and equipment quantity needs to maintain appropriate inventory levels

• Assist with reports and recommendations related to purchasing procedures

• Conduct product comparisons for quality and cost-effectiveness

• Accurately allocate supply charges to appropriate departments

• Fill routine requisitions and follow up with vendors regarding delays

• Ensure proper delivery, storage, and organization of supplies to prevent damage or deterioration

• Maintain accurate inventory records when receiving and issuing supplies

• Notify departments of special order arrivals and maintain documentation

• Monitor supply utilization to prevent waste and support quality care

• Submit charges to the Home Office in a timely manner

• Ensure vendors provide required Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in compliance with OSHA regulations

• Troubleshoot basic IT issues related to supply systems and coordinate repairs as needed

• Schedule and coordinate residents’ doctor appointments and transportation

• Accompany residents to appointments when required

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and work independently
