Location: San Marcos, CA
Pay: $22.00/hr (1st Shift) | $23.00/hr (3rd Shift, includes $1.00/hr shift differential)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | $22.00/hr
• 3rd Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM | $23.00/hr ($22.00/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential)

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our manufacturing team as Irradiation Operators. In this role, you will safely operate and monitor irradiation equipment used to process tubing products while ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with production specifications. Essential Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor irradiation equipment according to shop orders and work instructions.
• Set up and adjust machinery based on product specifications, including voltage, speed, and processing parameters.
• Record and maintain accurate irradiation dosage information for each production run.
• Perform visual inspections and monitor machine operation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify equipment or material issues and notify Quality Assurance or supervisors as needed.
• Properly label, document, and communicate discrepancies or nonconforming materials.
• Maintain production logs, equipment records, and operational documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and operate equipment using required safeguards.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, shop orders, and production schedules.
• Basic math skills for measurements and production calculations.
• Electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform frequent bending, twisting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
