Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in sterile processing and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and sterilization.
Shift
This position requires working a mid-shift schedule of five 8-hour days, from 14:30 to 23:00.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper cleaning, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with surgical teams to facilitate patient safety and effective surgical procedures.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in sterile processing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
- Certification in Sterile Processing preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
