Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician Albuquerque, NM

Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 10 Hours/Day
Start Date: 06/29/2026
End Date: Ongoing

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Inpatient Hospital
Responsibilities: Perform inpatient GI procedures, occasional consults, assist APPs with rounding if needed, manage esophageal food bolus impactions and inpatient scopes
Required Procedures: Upper GI Endoscopy, Foreign Body Removal, Fulguration of Bleeder, Banding of Varices, Esophageal Dilation, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Polypectomy, Adult Hepatology procedures
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: APP support available
Days Per Month: Monday Friday Coverage
On-Call/Weekends: No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
BLS & ACLS Certifications
Minimum 2 Years Experience
ERCP/EUS Experience Preferred
