Program Analyst

Duties

Responsible and accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities for the production of an assigned report presented to the public and submitted to Congress.

Exercises independent judgment and applies exceptional executive managerial skills in the direction, oversight, and decision-making for the entire life cycle of the report production process.

Serves as a subject matter expert with expertise to formulate, draft, merge ideas, concepts, and materials to write/edit reports in which there is broad latitude to independently recommend or determine topics and sources of information for reports.

Serves as an OIG representative responsible for representing OIG interests to senior members of the DoD and Military Departments and other Federal Offices engaged in the military, diplomatic, and humanitarian components of an overseas operation.

Acts as team leader on assigned projects; provides instructions to team members, assigns work, provides training and reviews work products, ensuring responsive results and adherence to established goals and time frames.
