Ultrasound Technologist Contract Position

This role is a 13-week contract ultrasound technologist position in Durango, Colorado. The technologist will perform general, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging while working four 10-hour shifts per week. The position offers competitive pay above market average and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound scans for general, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging, ensuring accurate assessments and documentation.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including Philips systems, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret imaging results and provide timely reports.
• Follow hospital protocols related to patient safety, infection control, and proper charting in EPIC EMR system.
• Adjust and optimize imaging settings to ensure the best quality scans, and assist in procedures such as drains and biopsies when required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARDMS (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience, including general and OB/GYN imaging.
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week and adapt to a hospital setting.
• Strong communication skills and flexible scheduling.
