NC FAST Salesforce Developer

Job Summary (List Format): Salesforce Developer DHHS Child Welfare Technology System
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Child Welfare solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Customize and configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and other features based on business needs.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with QA teams to ensure solution quality.
- Track and manage development activities using Jira Scrum and Kanban boards.
- Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and document business/technical requirements.
- Analyze the impact of new requirements on existing and proposed systems.
- Develop sustainable system designs and utilize existing design patterns.
- Review user requests and design systems aligned with organizational strategy.
- Prepare documentation and project plans, including resource projections.
- Troubleshoot application and data issues, proactively monitor/support production applications.
- Engage with business analysts, end-users, and technical teams for requirement clarification and solution alignment.
- Participate in technical committees, governance meetings, and peer/code reviews.
- Write technical documentation, process flow diagrams, and assist with user training materials.
- Maintain and enforce organizational standards, procedures, and approved methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and remediate vulnerabilities as required.
- Continuously seek optimization opportunities and suggest enhancements for the Salesforce environment.
Required/Desired Skills:
- 7+ years of Lightning component development (Required)
- 7+ years of Apex code and Apex test development/maintenance (Required)
- 3+ years of Visualforce page development (Required)
- 7+ years of Salesforce 3rd party app integrations (Required)
- 3+ years of data migrations from legacy systems (Required)
- 1+ year of Copado experience (Highly Desired)
- 1+ year of Copado Robotics Testing (Highly Desired)
- 1+ year of experience issuing tickets to Salesforce (Highly Desired)
