Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on a per diem basis. This position involves delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to compliance standards, and supporting clinical team needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Monitor vital signs, adjust treatments, and document care provided in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Follow strict compliance requirements prior to and during employment, ensuring full profile completion within two weeks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation for all patient interactions.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical support and advanced neonatal interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in neonatal or pediatric critical care preferred.
• Ability to meet all minimum compliance requirements prior to start date.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a per diem basis.
