This is not a passive customer service position. This role is focused on new customer acquisition, high activity, relationship building, and producing results. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking to people, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, and is motivated by the opportunity to increase their income through performance. You do not need to come to us as an insurance expert. We can teach insurance. We're looking for the energy, work ethic, coachability, and drive to succeed in sales. What You’ll Do As an Account Representative, your primary responsibility is growing the agency by developing new relationships and bringing new customers into our office. You'll: Generate and follow up with new sales opportunities Make consistent outbound calls and maintain a high level of daily sales activity Respond quickly to inbound leads and prospective customers Conduct needs-based conversations with potential customers Quote and sell auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products Cross-sell apporpriate products based on customer needs Follow up consistently with prospects who haven't purchased yet Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline Track your activity, appointments, quotes, and results Participate in sales training, coaching, role-play, and team development Work toward individual and agency production goals Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Have high energy and bring a positive attitude to work Are naturally outgoing and comfortable talking to new people Are competitive and enjoy working toward measurable goals Are motivated by earning more when you produce more Have the discipline to maintain high activity even when you hear "no" Are comfortable making outbound calls and following up with leads Are coachable and willing to practice your sales skills Take ownership of your results Want a career in sales , not simply your next job Want opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you develop Previous sales or insurance experience is helpful, but it is not required for the right person. Compensation: $17/hr base + uncapped commission Expected total compensation is approximately $45,000 - $85,000+ annually, depending on individual sales performance.
