Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices within our teams. The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding teams in adopting Scrum principles, ensuring effective collaboration, and removing impediments to deliver high-quality products on time. This role acts as a servant-leader, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Agile excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives
  • Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles and best practices
  • Ensure the team adheres to Scrum processes and framework
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog
  • Promote transparency and clear communication across stakeholders
  • Track and report progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.)
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback
  • Support multiple teams if required in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, etc.)
  • Help the organization adopt Agile mindset and practices beyond the team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Agile & Scrum: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach; strong understanding of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe; Scrum certifications preferred: CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master
  • Tools: Experience with Agile tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar tools
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities; ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT, software development, or digital transformation projects
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in large enterprise or distributed teams
  • Coaching and mentoring experience
