About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to take on the pivotal role of owning and driving all revenue for the enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy that spans across the full service portfolio, with a focus on cross-selling and winning national and multi-region contractor accounts. This role involves leading the transformation of strong regional businesses into a unified, scalable commercial organization, and requires a hands-on, data-driven approach to sales leadership, pricing, and margin management. The CCO will also be instrumental in M&A integration, leading commercial diligence on acquisition targets and ensuring a seamless go-to-market integration. Applicants must have a proven track record in commercial leadership, with at least 15 years' experience, including a minimum of 5 years as a senior sales or commercial executive in a business with $75M to $500M in revenue. Direct experience in the construction trades, particularly with commercial HVAC, MEP, or specialty subcontractors, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a builder, capable of hiring and developing leaders, and will have a strong command of commercial analytics, pricing, and margin. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an MBA or engineering degree. The role demands a leader who is credible with both field-level and executive stakeholders, and who is adept at running a business on metrics and driving accountability within the team.
