About the Role: CardioClinic in Houston, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Healthcare Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our practice. Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner upon arrival Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EMR system Answer and route incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries promptly Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers as needed Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; medical office training or certification a plus Prior experience in a medical or healthcare front desk role preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Houston market About Us: CardioClinic is a trusted cardiovascular care provider serving the Houston, TX community with a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes and compassionate care.
