Material Handler II Weekend Night ShiftLocation: Sheboygan Falls, WI, US, 53085 Shift: Third Shift Employment Type: Hourly Full-timeAs a member of our supply chain team, you'll ensure our customers receive noticeably better service and that our products are delivered accurately and on time. With great attention to detail, while still seeing the big picture, you'll ensure all elements of the distribution process are considered and accounted for. Additionally, you'll assist our operations team in obtaining the lowest industry cost. Working closely with internal partners, customers and vendors, you'll provide a seamless and hassle-free logistics process.Pay Range: $27.88/hr - $29.17/hr + $4.00 Premium Hours: 4:00pm – 4:30am; Friday - Sunday (Overtime as production demands).Responsibilities:Develop a strong set of world class warehousing skillsUse your skills and talents to help the shipping department strive for and meet customers' needs and expectationsBe proactive and participate in daily meetings and project teamsShare and discuss ideas and solutions with your teammates and coachSet goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire "superlative" performance in order to support The Johnsonville WayWork with your coach to grow not only yourself but your teamCommit to unending personal and professional growthEssential Functions/Duties:Safely operate stand-up forklifts, both counterbalanced and reach trucksSafely operate pallet inverters and pallet wrappersSafely operate scissor liftsDistinguish non-acceptable and acceptable quality productsUse SAP and handheld RF scanners to accurately transfer materialsPick and assemble outbound customer ordersReceive inbound finished goods and suppliesIdentify proper storage and shipment temperatures for different products and suppliesMove product and other materials into and out of pallet rackingBuild, prepare, and wrap pallets for shipment or storageLoad and unload semi-trucks and trailersMaintain a clean and organized workspaceExperience:Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment requiredExperience operating forklifts requiredSkills:Ability to take ownership of own and other Members' safetyMust be willing to work in temperatures as low as -20°FMust be willing to occasionally work at heights up to 30 feet above the groundMust be able to frequently lift up to 40 lbsMust be able to communicate effectively and professionallyBased on business necessity, must be proficient in EnglishOther Requirements:Must be at least 18 years old or olderAbility to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background checkBenefits and Compensation:Members have potential for a monthly bonus and 401k with a company match.
