Media Budget Operations Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Media Budget Operations Manager in Burbank, CA. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Media Budget Operations Manager to oversee media budget management, financial operations, campaign spend tracking, vendor coordination, and reporting activities. This role serves as a critical partner to Marketing, Media, Finance, Procurement, and agency teams, ensuring accurate budget planning, forecasting, reconciliation, and financial compliance across media investments. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage media budgets, forecasts, and spend tracking across campaigns and business units
• Monitor actual spending against approved budgets and forecasts
• Review, reconcile, and validate media invoices and vendor billing
• Track purchase orders, commitments, accruals, and payment activity
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual budget planning processes
• Prepare budget forecasts and identify financial risks, variances, and opportunities
• Partner with media agencies, vendors, and internal marketing teams to support campaign execution
• Maintain media budget trackers, financial reports, and campaign documentation
• Ensure media spending is accurately allocated across campaigns, brands, and channels
• Monitor campaign financial performance and support optimization efforts
• Coordinate invoice approvals and resolve billing discrepancies
• Develop and maintain budget dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
• Perform variance analysis and present findings to leadership
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting for Marketing, Finance, and executive stakeholders
• Analyze media investment trends and provide actionable recommendations
• Support audit requests and maintain documentation supporting financial controls
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procurement procedures
• Strengthen budget controls and financial governance processes
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in media operations, marketing finance, budgeting, financial analysis, or related fields
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience working with agencies, vendors, or marketing operations teams
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, and financial analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in media, advertising, entertainment, streaming, or digital marketing organizations
• Experience with media planning, campaign management, or marketing operations
• Experience with procurement systems, ERP platforms, and financial reporting tools
• Experience developing dashboards and executive reporting packages
